Working example

NORTHLINE is a fictional boutique. Walk the shop, pick a size and color, add to cart, open the checkout preview, or compose a simulated WhatsApp enquiry.

View Live Store Demo

Sales demo of the customer paths. It is not a WordPress install, and no order is placed.

The problem

Social selling works until the catalog outgrows the chat

This is a common gap for small brands. It is not a claim that a store replaces every channel you already use.

Social-only selling

Posts and stories show new pieces, but older products disappear and there is no place that stays up when you are offline.

The same product questions

Size, color, and price get asked one chat at a time. A product page answers the repeat ones before anyone messages you.

No searchable catalog

Highlights and pinned posts are not a shop. Customers cannot filter by category or find a piece they saw last month.

No owned storefront

The account, the algorithm, and the layout belong to the platform. A store on your domain is yours.

Hard to browse

A grid of photos is not a shopping path. People still need a product, a cart, and a way to pay or to ask.

The path

Browse, then checkout or enquire

One storefront. Two ways a customer can finish. WhatsApp does not replace checkout unless you want that option on the product.

Customer

Product
Cart → Checkout

They choose a variant, add it to the cart, and pay through the checkout you configure. Basic includes the checkout pages; live gateway keys start at Standard.

WhatsApp → Enquiry

They message you about a specific product. Standard and Premium can also add an “order via WhatsApp” call to action. It is a normal chat, not a bot.

What you get

A store you can sell from

Not every line is in every package. The tag shows where it starts. The package cards below are the contract.

Responsive storefront All

A mobile-responsive WooCommerce theme setup. Customers can shop on a phone without a separate app.

Catalog All · caps differ

Up to 15 products on Basic, 40 on Standard, 80 on Premium. You supply the product information.

Categories All

Basic category setup so the shop is not one long list.

Product pages All

A product template with the fields WooCommerce already provides, including variants where your products have them.

Search and filter basics Standard+

Not included on Basic. Standard and Premium add straightforward search and filter, not a custom merchandising tool.

Cart and checkout pages All

Home, shop, product, cart, and checkout are in every package. Paying with a live gateway is a separate line below.

Payment gateway Where the package allows

Basic is a guide only — no live keys. Standard configures one gateway (you provide the account; Stripe or PayPal typically). Premium configures payment for launch.

WhatsApp enquiry or order Enquiry on all

Basic puts an enquiry button on product pages. Standard and Premium add an optional “order via WhatsApp” product call to action. Premium documents the path for staff.

Basic shipping Standard+

Shipping zones and rates on Standard. Premium configures shipping for launch. Basic does not include zone setup.

Basic store management All

You keep the WooCommerce admin for products and orders. This is not a retainer. Ongoing updates are excluded. Premium includes a short edit guide and a 7-day bug-fix window only.

How it works

From your files to a store you can open

You send the brief

Products, logo, business info, and requirements. Photos and copy are yours. Writing and photography are not part of the gig.

Setup

WooCommerce on your WordPress hosting, with a responsive theme and essential plugins only. Not a design from scratch.

Products

Catalog and categories loaded up to the cap on the package you buy.

Config

Checkout, WhatsApp enquiry, and — from Standard — shipping and one payment gateway using accounts you provide.

Review

Revisions as listed (1, 2, or 3). Standard and Premium include a staging review before go-live.

Launch

The store is handed to you. Premium adds a Loom walkthrough, an edit guide, and 7 days of bug fixes. Not new features.

Who builds it

An experienced web and software studio

20+ years

WC Digital Studio has spent 20+ years on web and software work, including WordPress and WooCommerce. This gig is that work applied to one store with a fixed scope.

Judge the demo

Open the Atelier North store demo and walk the catalog. It is a sample of the shopping experience, not a portfolio of unnamed clients.

No invented proof

This page does not show reviews, star ratings, or client counts. None are made up here.

You own the store

The site, hosting, domain, and payment accounts stay in your name. The studio is not the merchant of record.

FAQ

Before you order

Who provides the domain and hosting?

You do. WooCommerce runs on WordPress hosting you control. The gig does not include buying a domain, paying for hosting, or moving a site from another platform. If you do not have hosting yet, say so before the order so the timeline can start when the server is ready.

Is the delivered site actually WooCommerce?

Yes. The gig is a WooCommerce store on WordPress: products, cart, and checkout. The live store demo on this page is a static preview of the customer paths so you can click through without a server. It is not the admin, and it is not your store.

How many products can you upload?

Basic is up to 15, Standard up to 40, Premium up to 80. You supply names, prices, photos, and variant details. Extra products are not included. Photography and copywriting are not included on any tier.

Will the payment gateway be live?

Basic includes a guide only. Live keys are not entered. Standard configures one gateway after you provide the account — Stripe or PayPal in a typical order. Premium configures payment so the store can launch, still using your account. The studio does not hold your gateway login as the store owner.

What about shipping?

Basic does not include shipping zones. Standard sets basic zones and rates from the rules you provide. Premium configures shipping for launch. This is not a live carrier contract, a label printer, or a fulfillment warehouse.

How does WhatsApp work on the store?

Basic adds an enquiry button on product pages so a customer can ask about that product. Standard and Premium can add an optional “order via WhatsApp” call to action. It opens a normal WhatsApp chat to the number you provide. It is not a WhatsApp Business API bot, and it does not replace checkout unless you choose to sell that way. The demo shows a simulated message and does not contact anyone.

Who owns the store after launch?

You do. Domain, hosting, WordPress admin, product data, and payment accounts are yours. You are not renting a storefront from the studio.

What happens after the gig ends?

Ongoing maintenance, new features, and content updates are not included. Premium adds a Loom walkthrough, a short edit guide, and a 7-day window for bugs only. A later change is a new order.

How do I hire you?
